On two separate occasions, Will and Kevin scheduled my appointment promptly. They fixed a poor installation (not done by them in the first place), installed new 'smart home' door hardware, tuned up existing hardware and re-keyed locks to provide a 'master' key and 'guest' keys. This guy knows his job! I was in a dire situation: while filling up my Honda motorcycle the cap fell from the top of the pump, the key got warped and twisted under the weight of the metal cap and it didn't start the ignition any more. It was the only key. I left the motorbike at the gas station overnight, then went to 1st Lock. The guy there tinkered on the old key and brought it into shape enough to be able to make a copy, which, hurray, did work perfectly (the older key still does not). If this attempt had failed, I may have had to get all 3 locks of the Honda replaced at the dealership with all the cost, fuss, and time bike-less (it is the week of July 4th). Thanks 1st lock, great service, fair price (9 bucks for one Honda/specialty key ... I made a second copy to avoid other misadventures). I could not be happier!

I am so happy that I contacted 1st Lock and Security today. They came out the same day and re-key the locks for us. W have an old Baldwin lock for our front door and we like it very much. But we lost a key recently so we decided to rekey the lock. Zach came out and got this done in 20 min. He was on time, quick and efficient! He also greased this lock and another lock for us. Used 1st Lock twice recently. First time was to fix a deadbolt on my front door that had always annoyed my family because it was difficult to turn and open. 1st Lock came out quickly and fixed it, now it's as smooth as glass. Second time was to duplicate an unusual key for my locking mailbox, although 1st Lock didn't have the required key blank in stock, they helped me order it from Amazon. The blanks came in a set of 4, I only needed two, so in exchange for giving my extra two to the shop I got the other two keys cut for free. Great to have a brick and mortar locksmith still around and doing professional work.
